The best time to sail from Agana is between April and October, when Croatia enjoys warm, sunny days and calm seas.
The peak season in July and August offers the liveliest atmosphere, with busy marinas, festivals, and nightlife in places like Hvar and Dubrovnik. For a quieter experience, sail in May, June, or September, when the weather is still fantastic but the crowds are smaller.

Agana offers some of the best sailing conditions in the Mediterranean. Expect calm seas, minimal tidal range (around 2 feet), and line-of-sight navigation between islands, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced sailors.
During summer, enjoy average temperatures of 79°F to 86°F (26°C to 30°C) with winds of 10 to 20 knots, ideal for relaxed cruising. The most common wind is the Pulenat, and while the Bura (north-easterly) can occasionally bring stronger gusts, it’s usually short-lived.

Mooring fees in Agana range from around €30-€317*, depending on whether you have a catamaran or monohull, the size of your yacht, where you’re mooring up and how long you stay.
