Moorings/Sunsail is always our go-to for chartering but I have to say the team at the Abacos base in Marsh Harbour were absolutely the friendliest, nicest we have had the pleasure of working with, will definitely be back.

Overall, it was a great experience from the moment we booked the trip. The Moorings was very helpful with guiding us throught the process from start to finish.

WE have sailed with the Mooring over 18 times- and have always found the service exceptional.

Our boat was amazing. Our adventures alone on the vessel were worth every dollar spent. Memories for a lifetime, thank you for having a vessel transit from st Lucia to Grenada.

Captain Dan was wonderful. We also love Belize, this is the second trip we have been on.

David and Dawn were amazing. The boat was very clean and functional. My husband liked having wifi. The places we visited were beautiful.

From initial booking through to return and checkout, the process was excellent! The boat was in top-notch shape, and service was beyond expectations.

Everything was top notch. Check-in was efficient but most of all the crew was fantastic. We could not ask for better service and nicer people. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and most importantly extremely friendly. This was a family trip for us and both George (Captain) and Gabriela (chef) felt like they were part of our family. We had tons of fun and plenty of laughs throughout the week. The weather was perfect and the locations found by our Captain were spectacular.

Very well kept boats and facilities. Staff is courteous and professional.

Moorings delivered as advertised. Great experience! Our skipper Marlon knocked it out of the park. He was not only an experienced captain but became part of our family. My grandkids loved him and he was great with them. His network of friends in the BVI made our vacation more memorable and spontaneous the we could have planned. We’re there in the off season and because of Marlon’s connections we had five star lobster dinner at sunset on the beach in Anagoda. We were the only family on the beach and had exceptional personalized service. I can’t say enough good about Captain Marlon.

Nice boat, great support, Laurent at the base is a superstar. Helpful, friendly, knowledgeable. Loved him!

Our crew (Cosy & Jan) are amazing. The food was delicious, and of course, the sailing was beautiful.

We planned this trip well in advance, as this was our 39th year of our “adventure club” – 4 professionals (MDs and Ph.Ds) getting together once a year to do something “adventurous”. The weather was perfect, the water was smooth, and the sailing was fine. We hit 5 islands in five days and mostly used the Boaty balls for overnight. I planned the meals and ordered the food items (except meat), and the boat was stocked when we checked in. The Moorings people were really great and we would definitely do this again!

We rented a 46’ power catamaran for a week with our family of 6, including kids ages 6 and 8. The boat was great, the weather was close to perfect and our trip was unforgettable – and one of the most memorable parts of the week was for sure captain Darko! He made our trip so extra special and was extremely patient, professional, fun, full of great information and stories, safe and wildly talented at docking in the smallest spaces I never would have thought possible! Captain Darko was really flexible and did his best to make an itinerary that got us everywhere we wanted to go in the safest and most efficient and weather-appropriate route possible. We really could not have asked for a better experience, in very large part thanks to captain Darko! He made everyone feel like a part of his crew and took extra care and time to make the kids feel like they were superstar helpers. 10/10 recommend!

This was my first charter so I don’t have anything to compare to, but Romano and Silvia made us feel at home in their home. I think we had a typical route with stops at Norman Island, Peter Island, Copper Island, Virgin Gorda, Anegada, and Jost Van Dyke.

My favorite island was Anegada where we rented Mokes, ate lobster, stopped at some great beach bars, then went snorkeling along the reef.

Other highlights were The Baths, Bitter End and Saba Rock, I had a Painkiller at every bar, including Soggy Dollar.

We chartered a 4200 Catamaran out of the Moorings base in Tortola. This was our 27th sailing trip through the Moorings, and as has been our experience in the past, everything was A+. The boat was well prepared, provisioned, and ready for Charter. We would not consider chartering with anyone else. Additionally, Boatyball has my highest rating of taking care of their sailors. A great combination, and we have already booked our 28th trip for next spring.

The team at Agana is wonderful. Very supportive and flexible. They ensured our adventure was a success. Mirna was particularly helpful, ensuring we had reservations at our first stop and being flexible on our return. She went the extra mile to make the trip wonderful! Thank you, we will be back!

My friends and I had the most wonderful 5 nights aboard the Maggie Sea II with Romano and Silvia. They were incredible hosts. The boat was in great shape, the food was amazing, and they clearly took pride in giving us a great customer experience on all levels. They are both great people, fun and kind, very knowledgeable about the islands, and curated a great trip for us based on our preferences. We hope to be back and see them again soon!

We had the best experience with Cozy and Jan on Happy Endings! This was our 3rd year with them! We stayed 6 days and lived every minute! Jan’s food is far better than any restaurants around the islands!

This was the best vacation I’ve ever experienced. Beautiful scenery and very relaxing. Highly recommend the services of Captain Marin! Marin set a wonderful itinerary where we an le to experience all the best spots of the BVI. Totally OUTRAGEOUS customer service!

We had so much fun the first time, we just had to go again! This was our second trip with Captain Andy and Chef Linzi. We did not think it was possible that the second time was better than the first – but it was! We took our children ages 26,24 and 22 and had the best family vacation in ten years. Perfectly cooked meals, coffee ready when you wake up, signature cocktails before dinner and probably ther best chef in all of the BVI. That is what you get when you travel with Captain Andy and Chef Linzi. Captain Andy found some great out of the ways bays to anchor with small little bars with lots of character, amazing snorkelling and daily chart briefings where you always learned something. So much fun, safe, relaxing and outstanding trip. Who is better in the BVI than Captain Andy and Chef Linzi? NOBODY!

This was our second trip on Seas the Day with Chef Linzi and Captain Andy. We did not think they could beat our first trip, but they did! This time we took our children, ages 26,24, and 22 and had the best family vacation in ten years. Every day was an adventure. Who wouldn’t want an incredible breakfast to start your day, great sailing, small little out of the way bars with character and the best dinner in the BVI. Daily briefings on where we were going, little factoids about charting and just so much fun, everytime we dropped anchor. If you are ever thinking about cruising the BVI, stop thinking just do it and ask for Captian Andy and Chef Linzi.

Lovely, well appointed boat. Only 2 issues noted: drawer under stove would not lock and in rough seas it tended to crash out. The grill was hard to use and didn’t get very hot. Otherwise the boat was in excellent condition and was well supplied. Sadly the weather was pretty rough but we were all experienced sailors so nobody got sick. We really enjoyed getting back to the Abacos

We booked our catamaran and captain through The Moorings in Tortola.
Our captain was excellent, his supporting staff, reception, boat repair and provisioning, not so great. The captain that was assigned to our boat was a No Show. Luckily his last minute replacement was exceptional! The woman at the front desk (with the large red glasses) really shouldn’t be in a customer service role. Not helpful and not friendly. As a result we left a day later without a functional water maker or grill. Once away from the dock, we enjoyed our boat, our captain and the beautiful Islands. If you bring children, be sure they are swimmers, they will love it.

The trip was a 8 day catamaran sail around BVI.

The best part of the trip was the marvelous Captain Matthieu Martinez. He took such good care of us, so kind, helpful and knowledgable. He is a great asset as a Captain.

The boat is very comfortable, spacious and well appointed. Beds seem smaller than advertised, but still substantial for a boat. I had a forward, smaller cabin.

The cabins in the bow end of the boat are quite noisy when the air conditioner, generator &/or water maker are running. I would recommend bringing noise canceling air pods.

Romano and Silvia far exceeded any expectations I had for the charter. The boat was clean, in great condition, and guidelines for safety were clear. Romano communicated effectively and was knowledgeable about weather, sea conditions, and what stops to prioritize. Silvia’s cooking was top notch. She was thoughtful in her planning; making sure to accommodate our group preferences. Not only were the meals timely and wonderful, the presentation was beautiful. I would recommend The Mooring over and over, with ultimate praise to Romano and Silvia.

Our crewed sailing charter with the Moorings in the BVIs was everything we had dreamed of. Captain Lucy Rees and chef/first mate Mark made it the perfect vacation. The crew were expert sailors, very knowledgeable about the locations and made everything enjoyable and effortless for us. I give this pair my utmost recommendation.

We had a 5 day cruise in the BVI with the Moorings, and it was just the absolute best! Our captain George and chef Coops were both amazing! Both of them really went above and beyond to make sure we had an excellent time. Coops’ food was delicious and honestly better than I would have even expected, and George did an admirable job navigating what were somewhat rough seas during a storm. The boat was kept in clean and sharp condition the entire time. I certainly couldn’t recommend them enough!

Just completed five nights with George and Coops on the Funky Miracle. George captained the boat amazingly through good weather and bad. He worked hard to ensure everyone had a fulfilling and safe time. His sense of adventure matched our own. At sunset, his creativity was in full form as he would create a specialty drink each evening to add to the fun. He honored our every whim! (Ask George about the kneeboard) Coops prepared meals for us and helped George in every way. Coops went above and beyond and our meals were delicious. The presentation made us feel like we were in a big city restaurant! Everything we specifically requested was taken care of. The sunset charcuterie became a favorite and her professionalism and empathy endeared her to us. Coops was awesome, knew the boat inside and out and was a true professional. What a wonderful crew!!! Can’t imagine the trip without them.

We had an excellent trip with four couples on our crewed BVI charter with The Moorings Company. Our Captain, Francesco was an experienced sailor and made us feel very safe. He choose wonderful places to share with us thru the BVI and had great recommendations for restaurants and special spots along the way. Our Chef, Nika was an excellent cook and made unbelievably delicious meals for us. She was extremely accommodating to special diets as well. Our crew was friendly and made our experience a fun, safe adventure.

Seas the Day with captain Andy and Chef Linzi is a fantastic way to take a first class vacation. The boat and the crew were first rate. Highly recommend.
